Aerification
The demand for faster rolling greens and firm and fast fairways has stressed golf course turf to the max. A healthy root system is more essential than ever for grass to survive at the low mowing heights now demanded on golf course turf. Roots need water and oxygen to thrive and grow.

Deep Tine
Deep tine aerification encourages deeper rooting for greater wear tolerance, weed control and disease resistance. AER-CORE has multiple DEEP TINE AERATORS in its fleet for large job use and faster completion time.

Deep Drill
The Hines drill aerator gently penetrates even the hardest, most compacted turf areas to a depth from 1 to 20 inches. Play can resume immediately. It increases percolation, air exchange and root depth.

Drill and Fill
In some cases, the existing base in old push-up greens is so high in clay content that rebuilding is the only option. A less drastic measure than total reconstruction is "building from within" using the drill & fill machines with which soil is removed and replaced with sand. Multiple machines are available for 1 or 2 day job completion.

Sandmaster
The BLEC USA GROUND BREAKER with SANDMASTER attachment is a unique one-pass surface draining machine. It is designed to work on a wide range of surfaces where compaction and drainage are a problem. It alleviates compaction and drains surfaces all in one pass while producing a 3/4" to 1" wide slit on 10-inch centers up to 8 inches deep. It deposits 60 to 80 tons of sand per acre!

Fairway Aerification/Clean-Up
Both bentgrass and ryegrass fairways benefit from core aeration. Surface compaction caused by golf carts, equipment and heavy foot-traffic severely restricts water penetration, resulting in excessive runoff. Core aeration opens up the surface for better water infiltration, helps promote thatch breakdown and creates a seedbed for overseeding. We have a large fleet of TORO FAIRWAY AERATORS at our disposal, capable of doing 50 acres per day for fast completion and minimum disruption of play.

Fairway Topdressing
Until the introduction of large area topdressers in the mid 1990's, fairway topdressing was not practical. Now with equipment such as large area topdressers, we can topdress all the fairways on a golf course in the time it previously took to topdress only the greens. Fairway topdressing promotes a smoother playing surface, more upright growth of the grass plants, and aids in thatch control.

Thatch-Master
Thatch-Master fine Turf Verti-Cut Units are available in 48", 60" and 72" widths and can be powered by a 20 to 30 HP tractor. Thin (.060) blades on 5/8" or 1-1/4" spacing are available and will not leave grooves. The units have a very high tip speed and are low in maintenance.

Ground Breaker
The BLEC USA GROUND BREAKER is an ideal machine to carry out both de-compaction and drainage work at the same time. It leaves the surface level and ready for play. The drainage occurs within the narrow slits that allow the water to flow from the waterlogged ground. It can be used on greens, tees and fairways.
