Both bentgrass and ryegrass fairways benefit from core aeration. According to the USGA golf courses should routinely aerate approximately every six weeks to achieve sustained benefits. Cleaning up debris and pulling cores can be time consuming on a typical golf course which has an average of 25 fairway acres. Core aeration opens up the surface for better water infiltration, helps promote thatch breakdown and creates a seedbed for overseeding. We have a large fleet of aerators at our disposal, capable of doing 25 acres per day for fast completion and minimum disruption of play.
